Yes, the scratch and dent items are fully functional and mechanically sound with minor imperfections such as surface scratches, scuffs, dents, tears, and damages to the original packaging and manuals. Do New Appliances Offer the best value?

If you buy one of our scratch and dent appliances, you end up with all the benefits of a new product, at a significantly discounted price. Typically, our scratch and dent appliances will cost around half the RRP of the new product. That's a pretty big saving!

Remember that if any damage to your appliance is cosmetic, the appliance will still work like a brand-new one. We also provide anything from a 90-day to a l-year warranty on all our scratch and dent products. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong with it, you're covered.

Do used appliances offer brand value?

We feel that they do. Theoretically, a brand new appliance should last longer than a new one, but that's not always the case.
When you buy a used appliance, not only are you paying far, far less for it than you would for the same new product, we also offer a warranty, so you're covered if the appliance does break down.
Even if you have to buy two or three used appliances to match the lifespan of one new appliance (and bear in mind many people buy a used appliance and it lasts them as long as a new one), you'll still usually have saved money in comparison with buying new.

Do you Buy Small appliances?

The short answer is yes, but the price we will be prepared to pay depends on factors such as your distance from us, what type of appliances you're offering, and the condition of the stock.
Obviously, if we have to travel some distance for some relatively low-cost units, we can't offer the same price as we can for a local pick-up of premium scratch and dent merchandise.
The best thing to do is give us a call and we'll be happy to advise on a case-by-case basis.

What sort of price are you prepared to pay?

This depends on variables such as our current stock levels; the volume, condition, and type of merchandise; and its location.
After twelve years in the business, we have a good understanding of the market, so the price we offer will be a fair, realistic one. Our goal is always to create a mutually beneficial relationship with our suppliers, as we value the part they play in making our business a success.

Will my sratch and dent appliance still look new?

Many scratch and dent items also include coupons to cover the cost of installation and haul away, making them a great Value

What is scratch and dent appliance?

A scratch and dent appliance is an item that has undergone minimal damage during the manufacturing process.
Scratch and dent appliances are simply that, having scratched or dented box or cabinet or other cosmetic damage. Either way, it's the same item as a regular item, but at a lower price.
Scratches or blemishes are typically present on the outside of the unit. Minor dents are present on some units, but only on the exterior of the unit. This does not affect the product's functionality.

What is scratch and dent means?

Home appliances come with a hefty price tag, especially if you prefer to purchase those manufactured by large and reputable brand names. These pieces can cost thousands of dollars. But imagine if you could score a deal on them, say 20% off? Now that could equate to some serious savings.
In general, "scratch and dent" appliances are perfectly functional appliances with a cosmetic downfall that causes them to be rejected by either the manufacturer or the purchaser. Let's look at what exactly scratch and dent appliances are, why you should buy them, and some tips for the shopping process. What Are Scratch and Dent Appliances?
Typically, scratch and dent appliances are brand new, unused appliances sold by third-party retailers at 20-60% discounts. Of course, this discount comes with a trade-off, usually in the form of the appliance's external packaging being damaged. Once the exterior of an appliance is damaged, the retailer can no longer sell it at full price.
Every scratch and dent appliance store manages its pieces differently. Some have what they call "new scratch and dent" appliances and "scratch and dent return" pieces. The point is, there are some huge costs to be saved if you can accept some imperfections. Why Buy Scratch and Dent Appliances?
The most obvious benefit of buying scratch and dent appliances is saving money. You can still get a high-quality appliance, and with savings upwards of 20%, you get to keep more cash in your pocket. In many cases, the damage to the appliance is on the side or the back. Think about a fridge, most slide into a recessed opening in which the side is not visible anyways.
In recent years, there has been a consumer shift towards sustainability and green shopping habits. Purchasing scratch and dent appliances align with these values and prevent these pieces from ending up in the landfill. Tips for Buying Scratch and Dent Appliances
If you decide that you are willing to accept some dents or scratches in exchange for the discount, ensure that you collect as much information as possible while shopping. When wandering your local appliance store, look for a separate section or room. The scratch and dent pieces are usually easily distinguished.
Here are Some Additional Tips for Shopping for These Treasures:
Thoroughly Inspect the Appliance
The store might state a fridge only has a small dent on the side but check for yourself. When damage occurs, it is not necessarily isolated to one location. Don't be afraid to ask the store to pull out the piece so you can fully walk around it to look and feel for additional imperfections.
Ask About Warranty and the Return Policy
Ask the store if the appliance still falls under the manufacturer's warranty. This varies between stores and brands and can depend on the history of the individual appliance.
Additionally, make sure you are clear on the store's return policy. You want to be cor that you can return the product if it's a
Consider Delivery and Installation
Often, delivery and installation are not included with scratch and dent appliances.
Think about how you will physically get the appliance home and whether you know how to install it. Sometimes, the costs and stress of this part are not worth the discount you are receiving.

Are Some Brands More Reliable Than Others?

In our experience, you usually get what you pay for. This means that if an appliance normally costs a lot when it's new, it's likely to be a higher quality item than one that's usually quite cheap to purchase.
That said, when it comes to used appliances, there are all sorts of other variables that come into play.
Factors such as the use the appliance has had, its previous location, and how well it was maintained can all affect the performance of the used appliance.
To ensure you always end up with an appliance that's fit for your purpose, we check each one and also issue a warranty, so you can get it replaced or get a refund if there's a problem with it.

Some Questions You May Have?

The main questions that customers have about our used appliances normally relate to concerns about reliability-how do they know that our appliances won't breakdown the minute they get them home? The reality is that we source our used appliances carefully and check them over thoroughly before they're put up for sale.
When you do purchase a used appliance from us, remember that it comes with a 45-day no-hassle warranty. In the unlikely event it breaks, send it back and we'll replace it or give you refund.
